We are delighted to announce the first-ever European Animal Research Association (EARA) Conference, celebrating our 10th anniversary and bringing together EARA members, the wider biomedical community and science communicators to shape the future of animal research communication.
Date: Thursday, 6 – Friday, 7 November 2025
Location: Berlin, Germany
Venues: Charité Berlin & Max Delbrück Center
Now that many countries worldwide are embracing openness and transparency in animal research, our conference will explore the next steps to improve the sector’s approach to communication with the public and develop its understanding of this important topic. We will also address the challenges faced in countries where openness lags and discuss strategies to engage these communities.
Kirk Leech, Executive Director of EARA, said: “EARA is very excited to be holding its first international conference in Berlin. This conference will bring together global experts on communications from various fields and across all media channels, the aim is to help the scientific community grasp the opportunities available to improve communications on animal research.”
So, join us at this landmark event to engage with leading voices in the field, participate in dynamic sessions and workshops, and network with professionals dedicated to advancing science communication.
More details will be shared soon, including registration dates and programme information. For now, save the date and stay tuned for updates! Contact ngoncalves@eara.eu
