Animal research awareness days

Institutions and researchers around the world have been invited to take part in BRAD, the biomedical research awareness day, on 20 April, supported by Americans for Medical Progress.

BRAD brings together the public, students, faculties and staff from the USA and Canada, as well as institutions around the world, to stimulate discussions on the role of animals in medical progress and to highlight the career opportunities in research and laboratory animal medicine.

Now for the first time, international participants can receive a toolkit with ideas and tips for planning an event, with materials and giveaways, and online resources to download. The toolkit registration fee is $100 and $25 without the toolkit.

EARA’s Be Open About Animal Research Day (#BOARD23), highlighting how the biomedical community communicates to the public about its research, takes place on Thursday, 15 June – to let us know about the participation of you, or your institution, register for free by 28 April.
