Be Open About Animal Research Day #BOARD24, co-ordinated by EARA, will take place on Friday 3 May, and to set the scene for the 24-hour global social media campaign we have put together a video compilation of highlights from 2023.
Among the biomedical institutions in the video are EARA members KU Leuven, Belgium, the Biomedical Primate Research Centre, Netherlands, and NOVA Medical School, Portugal – as well as other institutions including the Philippine Association for Laboratory Animal Science, the University of Wrocław, Poland, and The Francis Crick Institute, UK.
The contributors to last year's #BOARD23 posted examples of good practice in communicating about animal research, including statements, Q&As, facility tours, interviews and video from animal facilities and labs – the campaign saw more than 1,000 institutions take part from 38 countries and six continents, and we anticipate #BOARD24 to be an even bigger event.
