EARA media training

EARA will hold two online media training sessions in December, with the support of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies and the Society for Neuroscience.

The free workshops, focusing on Poland (6 December) and Italy (13 December), will offer a country-specific overview of current animal research communication, and aim to equip attendees with the tools needed to start communicating about animal research to a wider audience.

Based on the EARA Communications Handbook, we will cover why it's important to be open and transparent about animal research, give tips on how to start talking to the media, plus advice about what to do in crisis situations.

These interactive online workshops, via Zoom, are aimed at researchers that use animals in their research, as well as communications staff, at institutions in those countries which conduct animal research.

Both events are free and will run from 10:00 -13:00 CET. Due to the interactive nature of the workshop, spaces are limited, so those interested should register as soon as possible, using the links below.

Workshop dates:

06 December - Poland

13 December - Italy
