Two grants to support young scientists in communicating about animal research and the development of alternative methods have been announced.
The two initiatives, launched by Animal Research Tomorrow, an international NGO based in Switzerland, that promotes animal research science and communication are:
Science Communication Grants (up to 2 500 €) proposing plans to deliver ‘communication approaches and/or create resources and tools to promote positive views’ on animal research.
3Rs grants (up to 5.000 €) for the development and testing of replacement, reduction and/or refinement approaches in animal research.
The deadline for applications is 1 November 2021, and projects should start in 2022 - scientists should be no older than 35.
