EARA board member Javier Guillén is the latest guest on the popular Lab Rat Chat podcast, sponsored by Americans for Medical Progress.
Javier was interviewed by Jeff Marshall about the work of EARA (9:30), regulations on animal welfare in the EU (15:10) and the efforts to improve openness and transparency in Europe (29:45).
Discussing the impact of the Spanish Transparency Agreement, he said: "We would never have believed four years ago that 142 signatories would now all have a public statement recognising and explaining the use of animals in research."
