Two free online events on animal research are taking place this week in France and in the Netherlands.
Utrecht University, Netherlands, hosts a discussion, followed by workshops, on how open science applies to the different stages of animal studies, and how this benefits research and society.
Better Animal Research through Open Science takes place tomorrow, Tuesday, 26 October (1200 – 1700 CEST) and is aimed at researchers and key professionals involved in animal research and the protection of animals used in science.
In France on Thursday, 28 October, EARA member ETISENSE is hosting a live webinar to share the results of a non-invasive monitoring technique of rats, using jackets that give read outs of breathing and heart rates, and their contribution to the refinement and reduction of animals used.
